She graduated from Wichita North High School in 1960 and went on to work for Southwestern (Ma) Bell, retiring from AT&T in 2001. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother; Carol was a life member of Eastern Star and First United Methodist Church in Wichita, she loved time spent with the SWB Pioneer retirees and traveling with her husband.
She is preceded in death by her parents and loving husband of 48 years, Duane Ramsey.
She is survived by her children, Duwayna and Phillip; daughter-in-law, Beth; and granddaughter Ava Francis.
A Visitation will be held Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W. Hwy 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209 with a private family interment. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
