

Carole Copeland Bock, 89 passed away February 26, 2016 at Bethany Home in Lindsborg, KS. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She drove school bus for Maize school district for many years and worked in dispatch during her retirement. She also faithfully operated the grain truck during wheat harvest each year and kept the guys fed in the field. Carole enjoyed doting over the love of her life, Bud, cooking, gardening, crossword puzzles, and anything involving cardinals. She was also a crack shot with the .410 whenever a gopher tried to take up residency in her garden. Carole never missed her weakly hair appointment so she could catch up on the local gossip. She is survived by a brother, Jim (Nancy) Copeland; a son, Mitch Bock of Garden City; a granddaughter, Riley (Matt) Thies of Overland Park; a grandson, Mason (Clancy) Bock of McPherson and two great-grandchildren, Elsie and Bruer. Carole is proceeded in death by her husband Bud, daughter Jodee, and daughter-in-law Laurie. The family requests that in Lieu of flowers that memorials may be sent to Bethany Home, Lindsborg, KS. Funeral service at Resthaven Mortuary 1:00 p.m. Wed. March 2nd, 2016 in Wichita, Kansas.
