Passed away on November 10, 2016, after a short courageous battle with an aggressive cancer. She was born March 4, 1945 in Arkansas City, Kansas, and retired from former IFR or Aeroflex in Wichita, Kansas. She enjoyed retirement activities including her Red Hatters Group, RSVP Volunteer Group, playing Bunco, sewing and quilting, and spending time with her grandchildren. Carole is preceded in death by her mother and father, Herb and Louise Huston, and daughter, Jayma Orr. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, John; sister, Barbara Dexter (Lynn); daughter, Jennifer J. Orr; stepdaughter, Christina E. Brown (Eric); stepsons, John E. Middleton (Gary), Christopher D. Middleton; 7 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at West Heights Methodist Church, followed by interment at Resthaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice of Wichita.
