Carolyn Ruth Eisenhauer

Carolyn Ruth (Rowles) Eisenhauer, passed away the morning of June 22, 2014, after a second stroke ended her week-long miraculous fight at Wesley Medical Center SICU, in Wichita, KS. Visitation 5-7 p.m. Friday, July 11, 2014. Funeral service 2 p.m. Saturday July 12, 2014 all at Hillside Funeral Home East, 935 N. Hillside Wichita, KS. A small informal burial service will take place at 10 a.m. on July 15, 2014 at Bluebonnet Hills in Colleyville, Texas. Born June 2, 1941, Carolyn had just celebrated her 73rd birthday with a night of dancing. She overcame a heart attack in 2010 and breast cancer 2012-2013, living her life vivaciously. She enjoyed dancing, playing bridge and dressing in style. Carolyn was a loving daughter, mother, and grandmother; caring for her mother, Mary Rowles until she passed away at the age of 99 in 2012 and was recently caring for her older sister, Joan. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, D. Barclay and Mary (Carl) Rowles; ex-husband, David Eisenhauer; brother in- law, Don Laufenburger; and stepson, Greg Eisenhauer. Those left to cherish her memory are sister, Joan Laufenburge Sacramento, CA; brother, Gary (Audrey) Rowles, Derby, KS; children, Jennifer (David) Vargha, Fort Worth, TX, Jeff (Jig) Brown, Kauai, HI, Karen (Clint) Walker, San Antonio, TX; 3 stepchildren, 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; extended family, friends, neighbors and her beloved dog, Barkley.
