Carolyn Mae Fraley (90), passed away peacefully in her home and entered Heaven on April 23, 2021, surrounded by her family. She was born December 3, 1930 in the home of her parents, Richard and Stella Schuler. Carolyn lived on their farm just North of Ness City, Kansas. She was the 5th of 12 children. She learned to work hard on the farm, and many valuable lessons came from those days. Her family lived by the moto: "Use it up, Wear it out, Make it do, or Do without." Carolyn graduated from Ness City High School in 1948. After graduation, she and her sister Arlene went to secretarial school, in Kansas City, Missouri. After she graduated from the secretarial school, she was hired at The Business Men's Assurance Company as a Payroll Clerk. She worked there for four years. In 1952 she met C.E. Fraley, while in Nevada, Missouri for a Fourth of July Celebration. He was home on leave from the Navy. Their romance blossomed as they wrote letters back and forth to each other. They were married on June 28, 1953. After C.E. graduated from the Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, Oklahoma they moved to Wichita, Kansas for C.E. to begin a new job with The Cesena Aircraft Company. Carolyn and C.E. lived the rest of their lives in Wichita. Carolyn worked in a Pharmacy Warehouse Fox-Meyer for several years. She also volunteered with the Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts, as well as doing many jobs at her church. Carolyn was a devoted wife, mother and helped anyone in need. She became a Christian at 10 years of age, and she loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! She enjoyed reading her Bible and other Christian literature. She continually prayed for her family and many others.

Carolyn is survived by their two children; Debra (Wayne) and Steven (Karen) Fraley; 4 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. She has many brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. She Loved Each One Dearly.
