Cecil (Hammons) Sartin

Cecil (Hammons) Sartin, age 88, a beloved member of the Douglass Kansas community, peacefully passed away on December 25, 2023. Cecil was born December 23, 1935, and lived a life full of kindness, compassion and a selfless care of others. She was know for her unwavering commitment to helping others, always extending a helping hand to those in need. Cecil's warm smile and gentle nature brought comfort to all who knew her. She will be remembered for her incredible work ethic, her love for the outdoors and her ability to brighten even the darkest of days. Cecil's legacy of selflessness and love will be cherished by those whose life she touched. She will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her. Cecil's favorite way to pass time and her favorite thing to do was fishing and camping. Cecil is pre-deceased by Brothers; Lewis Hammons and Lawrence Hammons, Sisters; Lula Hodges and Francis Scribner, and a daughter Carol Bastian and Husbands Roy and Fred. Cecil is survived by a brother; Howard Hammons and a sister; Maxine Hodges a son; Johnnie Sartin, Daughters; Joyce Hirsch and Margie Born along with multiple Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
