Billie Charline Beebe, known and loved by family and friends as Charline, passed away peacefully at home under hospice care on September 30, at the age of 76.
Born in Cheyenne, Oklahoma, Charline was the daughter of Stella Laverne Townsley and Billy Joe Davis. She attended Elk City High School and furthered her education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University and later Wichita State University.
Charline's life was centered on family and caring for others. She shared a loving marriage with her husband, James "Jim" Beebe, whom she met through the Spiritual Life Center. Together they built a life filled with love and companionship and would have celebrated 26 years of marriage in November. Prior to her marriage to Jim, Charline was married to Steven K. Miller, a union that blessed her with three beautiful children, Lisa, Lori, and Schalie.
Charline's greatest blessing was her family. She treasured her role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and cherished every moment spent with those she loved. She volunteered in an elementary school special education classroom and always sponsored children through Unbound and other charitable organizations. An Avid sports fan, Charline, delighted in cheering on her favorite teams and attending her grandchildren's sporting events whenever possible. Her passion for the game was unmistakable, and when she was watching, her enthusiastic cheers could often be heard from another room. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking, attending services at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, playing the piano and spending time by the ocean. Charline will be lovingly remembered for her homemade sweet pickles and strawberry jam, as well as her kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family.
Charline is survived by her devoted husband, Jim Beebe; her brother, Bobby Davis and spouse Janette Davis; and her children, Lisa (Miller) Mashnouk and spouse Fadi, Lori (Miller) Steiner and spouse Scott, and Schalie (Miller) Johnson and spouse Jeremiah.
She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Kobi Mashnouk and spouse Darby, Kori Mashnouk and spouse Carli, Hayden Curry and spouse Chad, Jack Steiner, Ganon Steiner, and Logan Johnson; along with four great-grandchildren and two more eagerly awaited additions to the family. She is also survived by many special extended family members, treasured friends, and her beloved sidekick, Ruggles.
Charline was preceded in death by her mother, Stella Laverne Townsley; father, Billy Davis; stepmom, Patricia (Ellis) Davis; and her beloved granddaughter, Haley McKee Vaughn.
