Claude Reginald Pelkey, 85, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019. He enjoyed watching the grandkids from his back porch while drinking a cup of coffee, with his favorite Hazelnut creamer and family was his number one priority. Claude loved going to the Kansas Star Casino and visiting other casinos. He is preceded in death by his wife, Wanda; children Claudia Lacey, Randall S. Pelkey, Sr., and Tammy Pelkey; grandchildren, Randy Pelkey Jr., and Michelle Lacey and great grandchild Steven Blocher. Claude is survived by his daughter Claudett Corbin; daughter-in-law Georgia Pelkey; brother Ernest (Barbara) Pelkey; grandchildren Christina Blocher, April Russ, Dennis Ruhl II, Bambi Ruhl, Michael Pelkey, Bradley Pelkey, Miranda Pelkey and Amanda Pelkey; 32 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 1:00pm at Resthaven Chapel with visitation one hour prior to service.
