John attended South High School and served in the Army from 1974 to 1976. He was employed with Perfekta Aerospace from 1991 to present. He was a devoted and tenured employee and became part of the Guerra family.
John is preceded in death by his mom and dad, JR and Jenette White, and is survived by his wife, Claudia, stepson Nehmiah Smith (Christina Johnson), stepdaughter Jannesa Smith, grandsons Kameron Wolff and Kaelob Wolff, and great-granddaughter Emily Wolff. He is also survived by his brother Joe White (Robin), sister Cathey Rhamy (Fred), brothers-in-law Jimmie Cox (Valerie), Claude Cox from Iowa, sisters-in-law Brenda Bunyard (Joe), Tonya Tangie from Iowa and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
John was a talented musician who shared his love of music with everyone. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, and enjoyed fishing, playing darts, reading, and entertaining friends and family at home. He loved his two dogs, Ziggy Stardust and Maggie Mae.
A Memorial Service will be held at Lakeview Funeral Home on Sunday, March 31, at 2 PM. Please feel free to dress casually. Kansas City Chiefs wear is ALWAYS appropriate.
