Colin Ashley Millican, Jr., age 25, Wesley Medical Center Emergency Medical Technician and McConnell AFB Reservist, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, June 25, 2020. Colin was born on April 26, 1995 in Wichita, Kansas. Growing up, he was active in many sports of which he lettered in swimming at Derby High School, where he graduated in 2014. In the summer after high school, Colin joined the USAF, where he was a Pararescue candidate before going on to EMT school at Butler Community College, where he hoped to become a Personal Trainer/Physician's Assistant. Colin had many hobbies; from gaming to photography, cooking to reading, and traveling to motocross. The yellow brick road would not have been as well traveled if not for the friends that traveled it with him. In these uncertain times Colin's earthly accomplishments are complete. He is now in God's kingdom doing His work. A joyous gift given to all, especially to his mom, Jennie.
Colin was a frontline worker who was passionate and caring with everyone he encountered and greeted each of them with kind words and a smile that will be missed.
Colin's memory will continue to live on in his mom, Jennie Chew; his beloved dogs, Astro and Buddy; his grandmother, Felicidad Chew; his grandfather, Harold Chew; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
