Connie M. Dutcher

Connie Dutcher, born February 2, 1938, in Rogersville, Missouri, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2026, in Wichita, Kansas after a lifetime defined by quiet strength, devotion, and deep love for her family. She was one of nine children, and the family farm where she was born continues to be a gathering place for reunions and cherished memories.

Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, and their daughter, Lisa. She is survived by her son, Steve Dutcher; her grandson, Leroy Allen; his wife, Courtney; and her three great-grandsons, Luke, Miles, and Hayes. Connie deeply loved her family and found joy in every moment spent with them.

She worked for many years as a housekeeper and was the steady matriarch of her family. She was known for her selflessness, quiet resilience, and unwavering work ethic. Her gentle presence and humility shaped the lives of those around her in lasting ways.

Connie leaves behind a legacy of kindness, sacrifice, and love that will continue to live on through the generations who follow her.

The Funeral Service for Connie will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, with visitation an hour prior, at Lakeview Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in the Mausoleum, 12100 East 13th Street North, Wichita, Kansas 67206.
