The man, the myth, the legend, aka Superman. The best husband, dad, bonus dad, uncle, grandpa, great-grandpa, brother, and friend. Curtis will be missed by so many. He was a hardworking man with over 30 years as a glazier and a brother for the International Brotherhood of Painters and Allied Trades Union. He worked many years with Hopper’s Glass in Wichita, KS.
Preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Isabelle Mount and brother, Doug Mount.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Vivian Foxworthy Mount; daughters, Kerri Mount of Dallas, TX, Kelly (Mark) Kolarik of Colcord, OK, and Samantha Mount (Alex Kerschen) of Andover, KS; grandchildren: Makinna Mount (Corbin Rother), Celdon Jones, Orlan “Mikey” Kolarik, Madalyn Mount, Della Kolarik, John Jones, and Ginger Jones; great-grandchild, Everest Rother (Baby E); brothers: Craig (Lisa) Mount of Garden Plain, KS, Kevin Mount of Wichita, KS, and Roger Mount of Wichita, KS; sister, Elizabeth (Mike) Johnston of Wichita, KS; sister-in-law, Sharon Foxworthy of Enumclaw, WA; and an abundance of family including cousins, nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be at Resthaven Mortuary on Monday, February 26th, 2024 from 5-7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be at Church of the Holy Spirit in Goddard, KS on Tuesday, February 27th, 2024 at 10 AM.
Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery with a luncheon at Holy Spirit to follow for those who would like to join.
