

Dalrona was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grand-mère, sister, and friend. She cherished spending time with her husband, daughter, and granddaughters, who were the center of her life.
Born on December 13, 1953, in Wichita, Kansas, Dalrona was preceded in death by her parents, Dale Carlson and Ramona Bryant Carlson; her stepmothers, Shirley Carlson and Patricia Carlson; her brother, Erik Carlson; her sister, Leale Carlson; her aunt and uncle, Orletta and Duane Angle; and her uncle, Charles James "Bud" Bryant.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, Richard Harrison; her daughter, Abby Wood (Matt); her granddaughters, Addison Wood and Hanna Wood; her aunt, Mary Bryant; her uncle, Ben Bryant; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Dalrona loved spending time with her family, crafting, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, the WSU Shockers, and Duke basketball. She especially enjoyed spending time at the lake and driving her boat. She also loved to travel especially to Disney, had a fondness for flamingos, and enjoyed listening to her favorite singer, Barry Manilow.
She dedicated her career to nursing and healthcare, serving with compassion throughout her professional life. She also served on the board of the Heart Association and spent many years as the camp nurse at Camp Wood.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 17, at 10:30 a.m. at St. James Episcopal Church, 3750 E. Douglas Ave., Wichita, KS 67208. Following the service, family and friends are invited to a luncheon to celebrate and remember Dalrona's life.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
The family is forever grateful to the nurses and staff of Winfield Rest Haven, Villa Maria, and EnHabit Home Health & Hospice for the compassion, comfort, and exceptional care they provided.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Dalrona's memory to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
