Dana Dawn Huy, age 64 passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025. She was born January 9, 1961, in Wichita, Kansas to Walter John Huy and Bonnie Jean (Schmidt) Huy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Bonnie Huy; her brother, John Steven Huy and her furry friend, Sugar Pie.

Dana is survived by her sons: Chad Schroeder, Matthew Herndon and Cody Clark; her grandchildren: Gabriella Groat, Adalyn Anderson, Makenna Herndon, Maddox Herndon, Connor Schroeder, Hailey Schroeder, Luke Schroeder and Mckinsey Schroeder; and her furry friend, Peanut.

Visitation for Dana will be 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 12, 2025, with the Funeral Service following at 1:00 PM, both at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Garden of Bruce Newton.

In Dana's great love for animals, a memorial has been established with: Kansas Humane Society, 3313 North Hillside Street, Wichita, Kansas 67219.
