

Darryl was born at home in Wichita, Kansas, where he spent the majority of his entire life and attended West High and then enlisted in the US Navy and Navy Reserves. After leaving the military, Darryl attended Wichita State. Darryl married his first wife, Judy Nichols in 1961 and had two sons, Todd E. Bradbury and Troy A. Bradbury. He later married the love of his life, Jean Bradbury in 1974 and together they raised his two sons and her 4 daughters, Susan Boley, Kathy Oliphant, Lori Silsby and Angela Hobus. They were happily married and loved to travel together, especially on cruises. Years after his wife Jean’s death Darryl moved to Missouri to be closer to his youngest son, Troy, who could care for him and help him cope with Alzheimer's.
Darryl enjoyed the outdoors including fishing, hunting and walking the trails to feed the squirrels. He especially loved the holidays when he could enjoy the family getting together with brothers, sisters, children and grandchildren. Darryl was always smiling.
Darryl is preceded in death by his wife, Jean Bradbury; His Son, Todd E Bradbury; Daughter, Angela Hobus; Both parents, Herman and Thelma Bradbury; one brother, Royce Bradbury; and two sisters, Verla Roberts and Naola Marvel. He is survived by his son, Troy Bradbury (Teri) and 3 daughters, Susan Boley, Kathy Oliphant (Mike) and Lori Silsby (Bruce); 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
