Dusing, Delaney M. 20, passed away May 18, 2018. Delaney was a proud veterinary technician student at WSU Tech and worked at the Caring Hearts Veterinary Clinic. She was not your typical ordinary girl; she was passionate about animals big and small, liked camo, driving her Jeep, and fishing. Even though Delaney was a quiet and camera shy young lady, who was content to spend time at home and never desired to be the center of attention, she captured the hearts of those who knew her with her quick wit and fun loving sass. She was loved immensely and will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her infant sister, Haley Marie Dusing; and grandparents, Leslie Dusing, Lou "Gaga" and Bob "Papa" Kernes. She is survived by her mother, Michelle "Shelli" Dusing; father, Robert Dusing; grandmother, Maxine Dusing; aunts and uncles, Jody "Aunt Jojo" (John) Czarniecki, Chris (Suzanne) Zimmerman, Mike Hall, Linda "Auntie" (Larry) McCaslin, Crickett (Scott) Eads, Donna Lumbert, Rose (Michael) Villarreal, and Linda (Gerald) Ayers; boyfriend, Emmett George; as well as many beloved family members, friends, and dogs, Kai Anne and Cassey. Delaney's celebration of life gathering will be held Sunday, June 3, 2018, from 3-6 p.m. at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials in Delaney's name be made to Beauties and Beasts, 114 S. Pattie, Wichita, KS 67214 or the Delaney Dusing Memorial Fund: https://www.gofundme.com/delaney-dusing-memorial-fund.
