Michael, Delbert R., 73, retired road maintenance supervisor for Sedgwick County Dept. of Public Works went to be with the Lord January 13, 2012. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 450 and the Shriners. Delbert was preceded in death by his parents Glen and Mary Michael. Survivors are his loving wife of 51 years, Sandy; children Christy (Michael) Petersen of Clearwater and Christopher Michael of Wichita; brother Bob (Debra) Michael of Derby; sisters Charlene Fair of Goddard, Gwen (Bob) Hinckley of Leon; grandchildren Micca (Jimmy) Shipman, Mariah Petersen, Maddie Petersen, Cole Petersen, Sandi Michael, Jonathan Michael; great grandchildren Aiden, Eli and Averi and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service is 1:00 pm Tuesday, Jan. 17 at Resthaven Mortuary. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be sent to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
