He was a 4th degree Knights of Columbus member.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Clara Seiwert, sisters Virginia Masterson and JoAnn McGreevey, brothers Gene, James, Wayne, and Richard Seiwert.
He was survived by his wife Yvonne (Vonnie), son Marc (Paula) Seiwert, granddaughters Clara Seiwert and Olivia (Lane) Johnson, great-grandson Easton Johnson, sister Bernice Dennis, and many nieces and nephews.

A recitation of the rosary will be held on Saturday December 23, 2023, at 10:00am, a mass of Christian burial will follow at 10:30am at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 861 N. Socora St., Wichita, KS 67212. An interment will follow the service at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209.
