Stewart, Dennis E., 72, of San Antonio, TX, passed away Feb. 12, 2015. He was born Sept. 5, 1942 to Don and Hilda Stewart in Wichita, KS. He graduated from Wichita Southeast in 1960 and then attended the K.C. Art Institute and Wichita State Univ. He started with Beech and then moved on to other aircraft companies across the nation as a graphic artist. He finally settled in San Antonio and opened his own art and frame shop. He was a car enthusiast, talented artist, and loved volunteering as a leader in Boy Scouts. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Andrea, his son Darren, and his brother Gary. He is survived by his wife Lynda, his son Jeremy (Beth), stepson Bryan (Sasha), brother Don, sister Shelley (Lloyd), grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral service is Friday, Feb. 20, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Resthaven Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to UT Medicine Senior Health at San Antonio or Boy Scouts of America.
