Counter, Donald Dewey “Don”, 88, retired truck driver passed away November 14, 2013. Don was a WWII Navy veteran in the Pacific Theater and member of Legion Post 0419. He was preceded in death by 5 sisters and 1 brother. He is survived by his wife, Leota; sons, Dan (Beverly) Counter of Lonetree, CO, Donnie (Dala) Counter of Wichita, Tom (Carol) Counter of Baldwin City, Steve (Jean) Counter of )Park City; daughter, Cathi (Bob) Wood of Wichita; brother, Louis Counter of Bloomfield, CO; sister, JoAnn Kennedy of El Dorado; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Graveside service is 1:00 P.M. Monday, Nov. 18 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
