72, passed away May 12, 2016. Donald was a jovial, loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved barbeques, rueben sandwiches and smiling at everyone he met. He loved giving his grandkids rides in his wheelchair and dancing at weddings. He was an active member of the Paralyzed Veterans of America and American Wheelchair Bowling Association Inc., he taught other handicapped people how to bowl. He was a Mason with Haysville Lodge #112, and knew how to make a great impression on others. He was preceded by his two sisters. Donald is survived by his wife, Vivian Trigg; sons, Curtis (Deb) McAlister and Don (Cheryl) Stejskal; daughters, Nikki (Thomas) Sparks and Deanna McAlister; numerous nephews; 16 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and beloved service dog Brandi. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2016 at Resthaven Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, 5500 E Kellogg Dr, Wichita, KS 67218.
