On December 5, 2020, Donna Mae (Hoch) Tomlin, went to be with Jesus at the age of 86. Donna was born May 2, 1934 in Wichita, Kansas to Chelsea Dameron and Cecil Mae Johnson, and was later adopted by Lester Clinton Hoch.
On July 26, 1952, she married the love of her life, Tom Nesbit Tomlin, and together, they had four children. Donna worked for many years as a bookkeeper for their family-owned businesses. Donna had a passion for teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School at Valley Center Christian Church. She loved the lord and teaching the kids about Jesus.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Cecil; and her loving husband, Tom.
She is survived by her brother, Leland Hoch; her half-sisters, Darlene Badgett and Paulette Fearing; children, Glenna (Brad) Isham, Cheryl Roach, Mark Tomlin, and Cindy (Roger) Hermann; 10 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and nephews and many close friends.
Visitation will take place on Friday, December 11, 2020 from 10-11 a.m. at Valley Center Christian Church, Valley Center, Kansas. The service will begin at 11 a.m., and it will be streamed online at the Valley Center Christian Church YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCCgSEinqWBgT8C2Z5-l3hRA - a private burial for family will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Wichita, Kansas.
