Doris L. Comstock

December 3, 1954September 15, 2021

With profound sadness we announce the passing of Doris "Dee," our loving and devoted mother and friend to all whose lives she touched, on September 15th, 2021.

She was the beloved mother of Josh and Krystal, proud grandmother of Trent, Tristin, Trey, Kaidin and Zander.

She was preceded in death by her father Donald, mother Mary, brother, Bobby.

Her surviving siblings include: Ken, Bill, John, Rubin, Rhoda, and Ramona.

Doris lived a full life as a wonderful mother, homemaker and daycare provider, and home health care aid. Doris had a passion for taking care of others and a heart of gold that will never be forgotten.

She loved to cook and bake. She made the best homemade pies and banana bread, was highly skilled with gardening and planting her favorite roses & flowers. She had a green thumb and could make everything grow and look beautiful. She was always up for adventure....that was also a passion. Doris had the deepest love & bond with her fur baby "Rocky!" He went everywhere with her & we know they have happily joined again in Heaven!

Most of all she loved her family and instilled in her son and daughter strength, courage and love and how to help others. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Doris could never be summed up in paragraphs. She was the best mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She could light up a room with her beautiful blue eyes and her smile. Her laugh was infectious and her heart was always so loving. Until we see you again....We love you, Always!

Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at for the Comstock family.

Dear Strawberrywyne ... You were always so kind and thoughtful and a positive force I looked forward to seeing each day on the stream. Little did I know that I would be stepping into your role as a moderator to help you out while you were gone. Your passing sent shock waves through our community. I certainly did not think you would be gone on a permanent vacation : ) We each have our time to go back home. I know you are fully aware and must love how everybody came together to help your family. What a beautiful thing to witness. From this side or that one, you are still pulling the best out of people. I will do my best to share the love you shared each day, to be the big heart and help those in need as you did. I know I will meet you at some point. Until then ... Much luv hun. You will forever live on in our hearts.

We met in an online chat community and her positive, upbeat attitude was always a bright spot when everyone in the room was down or upset. We became friends and looked forward to one day meeting in person. As it turns out, we will meet one day in Heaven. God bless you Dee and your family, too. We miss you terribly and look for to that "One bright morning when this life is o'er."

Strawberry was the most gracious of ladies online. I’m sure she was a shining example of Gods love in person just as she was online. It was fun chatting with her on telegram and MarkZ show. I pray God gives her family and friends peace in knowing she is with Him now.

A Poem for my Dear Friend Doris

Farewell my sweet friend,
It's was time for you to go.
Your friendship was a blessing,
And I will miss you so.
We shared so many secrets.
You brightened up my days.
You brought me so much happiness
With your kind and loving ways.
You lifted up my spirits
When I was feeling blue.
No matter what was happening,
You knew just what to do.

Through all the ups and downs of life
The good times and the sad,
Your The best friend I could ever had.

God is here to take you home.
Now you and I must part.
I love you, and forever
You will live within my heart.

Love you always,

Doris was one of the most loved members of this family. Always willing to help if she could and her spiritual nature was very calming. She always helped with advice and took advice from us also. A great listener.
Doris will always be in our hearts and on our minds. She is gone physical but never spiritually.
Doris you are loved and can now go on painlessly to join Mom, Bobby, Rocky and Ron. God has a purpose for you and we know you will fulfill that purpose.
