Wells, Dorothy J., passed away on April 25, 2016 in Wichita. She was born in Burlington, KS on January 31, 1936. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, and two sisters, Joanna and Charlene. She is survived by her brother Charles Burgett, and four sons, Michael (Erin), Gregory (Cheng-Yi), Marc (Sheila), and Scott (Sabetha), three granddaughters Beth, Sarah, and Amelia Wells, and two great-grandsons, Grayson and Nolan Wells. Dorothy loved working in her yard and had a warm heart for children and animals. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to AgapeCare Cradle, P.O. Box 704, Wichita, KS 67201-0704 or Kansas Humane Society. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Lakeview Cemetery.
