I have many fond memories of the years we worked together. I enjoyed the stories he would share about his days in the John Deere dealer in Moran, Ks, and other career experiences. He will be deeply missed.

Barnes Family,

I am very sorry to hear of your loss of Dwight.  He was my district director when I started working for USDA in Harvey County in 1979.  I always appreciated working with Dwight and the support he gave me as a new county director. I found myself missing his assistance, guidance, and good sense many times through my career.  I am still working for USDA (in Fort Scott), so Dwight got me trained well enough to survive for all these years!

You may always miss him, so I will pray that God's grace will see you through the tough times.

Ann, I am saddened to hear of the passing of Dwight.  I always enjoyed Dwight's company being that he was a great conversationalist and a classy guy.  Dwight lived a rich full life and many people will miss his departure but find comfort in the knowledge that he was loved by many.

Dear Barnes Family,

I was saddened to hear of Dwight's passing. I became associated with him over 30 years ago as I was starting my management career with USDA-ASCS. In fact, Dwight was on the selection board that hired me for the job that I still currently hold and was my supervisor over several years until his retirement. So, I owe him much graditude and am thankful for his presence in my life. He was a kind and caring man and a great personal mentor to me. I will remember him fondly and share along with so many family and friends in the sorrow of this loss.
