Mayta, Dwight Martin, 83, retired salesman passed away May 21, 2013. Dwight was a Korean War veteran and an Army Paratrooper. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and how he was always there when something needed fixing. He was preceded in death by his son Thomas “Tom” Mayta. He is survived by his former wife, Mary; daughter, Terrie (Stephen) Grillot; son, Mike (Valerie) Mayta, all of Wichita; brother, David Mayta; sister, Doris (Tony) Pecoraro of Kansas City, MO: grandchildren, Gregory, Jonathan, Chelsea, McKenzie and great granddaughter, Elizabeth. Funeral service is 3:00 pm Tuesday, May 28 at Resthaven Mortuary. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be sent to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
