E. Ruth Morgan

Morgan, E. Ruth, 101, of Wichita, Kansas passed away peacefully on Thurs. Jan. 12, 2017 in Wichita. Ruth was born the daughter of Roger and Cora (Chisman) Burroughs on Dec. 16, 1915 in Morley, Iowa. Ruth and Andy Morgan were united in marriage. Ruth retired as a seamstress from Midwest Sewing Center in Wichita. She was very active in Girl Scouts her entire life. Ruth and Andy enjoyed camping with the Mid Kansas Sams Camping Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Andy, daughter, Donna Lou Morse, son-in-laws, Ray Hawkins, Donald Morse, siblings, Wilma and Bill. Survivors include her loving granddaughters, Lori (Greg) Owens of Wichita, Donna (Michael) Hansford of Wichita, Mitzi (Art) O’Neal of Potwin, KS, great-grandchildren, Raylene (Bob) Voros of Andover, Andrea (Jeff) Bullok of Andover, Amy (David) Marsh of Wichita, 6 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6 to 8pm on Thurs. Jan. 19, 2017. Funeral services will be 2pm on Fri. Jan. 20, 2017 both at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita.
