Earline Rae Brittain, 93, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026, at home surrounded by her family. She was born January 27, 1933 in Sulphur, Oklahoma, the daughter of William W. and Hattie (Hall) Nelson.
Earline was a co-business owner of Brittain Machinery where she enjoyed working as a purchasing clerk. Away from the office, she was known for her excellent cooking and always having a clean home.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Dewey Brittain; her parents; her two grandchildren, Joshua Brittain and Natasha Arvidson; and her great-grandchild, Garrett Oliphant.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Lynde, Michael (Dixie) Brittain, and Regina Brittain; her grandchildren, Michelle Rosenboom, Jacob Brittain, Tiffany Brittain, Amy Huffman, Kicia McCarty, Jessie McCarty, and Trisha Sullivan; along with 12 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Public Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM on Friday, March 20, 2026; Graveside Service will be 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 21, 2026, both at Resthaven Mortuary & Gardens of Memory, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution has been established with: National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, New York 10016.
