Edith Sharon Bush

Bush, Edith, 74, of Wichita, KS passed away on October 15, 2018. She was born the daughter of Denver and Thelma Karlstrom in Joplin, Missouri. Edith had a passion for working with children. She graduated from the St. Francis School of Nursing in 1979, was a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner and retired from the NICU at Via Christi/St. Joseph Hospital after working in the field for over 30 years. Edith enjoyed crafts and sewing; she had her own Etsy store, and she attended local craft shows as well as sold consignments locally. Edith also had a passion for genealogy and published three series of family history books.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Murray; son, Jeff (Kim) Bush; daughter, Kim (Brian) Murphy; grandchildren, Meghan Forsythe and Dylan Murphy; and brothers Neil (Debbie) Karlstrom and Carl (Cindy) Karlstrom.

Private family services will be held.
