Nixon, Edith McKnight (Guyot) was born Nov. 7, 1921 in Winfield, KS, passed away February 12, 2015. She moved to Douglass, KS in 1942 and married James Guyot U.S.A.F. After his death in 1945, she went to work for Fourth National Bank in Wichita until her retirement. She is preceded in death by husband Deryl Nixon, brother Edward McKnight and sister Maurine Rutherford. She is survived by brother Grant McKnight of Bartlesville, OK, two nieces Linda Green and Gail Miller of Nacogdoches, TX. Also step children Christie Nixon of Minneapolis, MN, Kelly Moore of Wichita, Scott Nixon (Nancy) of Frisco, TX, step grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Edith was a member of Pathway Church, North Maize Road and also Project Beauty. Funeral service will be Monday, February 16, 2015 at 10:00 AM with visitation 1 hour prior, both at Resthaven Mortuary. Memorials can be sent to Kansas Humane Society
