Kimbell, Edward Kenneth "Ken", Ken passed away at The Kansas Medical Center on July 20,2016. He is predeceased by his brother, Jim. Ken is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Mona; his sons, Jerry, Jeff and David; 8 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Ken is lovingly remembered by his 99 year old mother, Winifred; brothers, Dennis and Mike; sisters, Wenona, Carol, Cheryl; and numerous other relatives and friends. Ken was born in Cimarron, KS on June 3, 1937. Ken had a gift of mechanical ingenuity and worked around the world designing and building manufacturing plants. Ken was also well known in his home of Hot Springs Village, AR as the man to call when something needed to be built or repaired. Ken loved golf and played on one of his favorite courses as recently as one month before his untimely passing. Ken also enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and the numerous friends he made during his many adventures. Visitation 5-7 pm Friday, July 29, 2016 and Funeral Service 3:00 pm Saturday, July 30 , 2016, both at Resthaven Mortuary.
