Elmer Clinton Rotramel

Elmer Clinton Rotramel, 92, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026. He was born September 13, 1933, in Hiwasse, Arkansas, the son of Martin Mac and Alice May (Bulock) Rotramel.

Elmer was a longtime member of West Douglas Church of Christ in Wichita, Kansas. He was an avid outdoorsman, where he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. One of his biggest joys was to fix and repair lawn mowers throughout Wichita, as there was no lawn mower he couldn't fix.

As a proud American, Elmer served his country as an Veteran of the United States Army.

He preceded in death by: his parents, Martin and Alice Rotramel; his daughter, Julie Frazier; along with his 10 siblings.

He is survived by: his devoted wife of 69 years, Iris "Sue" Rotramel; his children, Don (Barbara) Rotramel, Vickie (Herb) VanDyke, and Greg Rotramel; along with 9 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

The casket will remain closed.

Public Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM ~ 10:30 AM on Thursday, June 18, 2026; Funeral Service will be 10:30 AM, both at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Garden of Cross, Wichita.
