I am just now seeing this also...Makes me so sad to hear of Irene's passing (only 11 days after my own mom passed). Irene and I became friends when we found ourselves in ground school together with the intention of learning to fly. We made several trips to OshKosh for the world's largest airshow. She loved it there and always found pilots and others to talk to and share her love of flight.
I know she's having a wonderful time in Heaven. I think of you often, Irene, and will miss you!!

I just read about Irene. So, so sorry to hear this. I did not know she was ill. She was a great, wonderful person and I admired her a lot.
She loved Learjet and airplanes in general! We used to go to Beaver Lake every Fourth of July with the Learjet Flight Test group and had the best time. It seems like just yesterday. John's boat was the greatest. Mr. Splinters I believe they called it.
I had lunch with Irene a few years back and she wanted to come ride one of my horses that I had. I asked her if she was serious!! She was. We never did that, of course, because things get in way for no good reason. I wished we had done that.

Our hearts go out to all of Irene’s family, we mourn her passing and know that her memory will be cherished.

When we were kids, the Thomas house was our favorite place to visit and play with our cousins.

A lovely lady has gone home. I have sweet memories of when your mom would visit you, Leisa and I appreciated the bond of closeness that you had. Your mom had the most lovely smile plus she seemed to have a smile most of the time. I know there is loss and deep sorrow in your hearts but your loss is Heaven's gain. Our hearts reach out to you today with love and understanding.
May you "rest in peace abiding".

Love
Len and Maxine
