Mendoza, Ernest, 85, retired construction carpenter, passed away June 17, 2013. Ernest served his country in the United States Navy during WW II. Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2013, 10 a.m. at Hillside Funeral Home East Chapel. Survivors: sons, Nick (Karen) Mendoza of Wichita, Mike Mendoza of Hawaii, John Mendoza (Tina) of Arkansas; daughters, Aurora (Steve) Perry of California, Jessica Mendoza of Wichita; brother, Julius Mendoza of Wichita, sister, Rosalie Mendoza of Valley Center, Carol Ogle of California; 9 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
