Ethel M. Munroe, 80, retired Fabric Manager, passed away Dec. 27, 2016. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed meeting with groups of friends including her friends from Yoga and Wal-Mart. Preceded in death by her sister, Lois Dotson; brother, Jay Walters; great granddaughter, Kyrie Thome. Ethel is survived by her husband of 62 yrs., Robert; children, Jo (Jamey) Degner, Gary (Jan) Munroe, David Munroe; sisters, Helen Royer, Mary Lou Johnson; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren. Visitation Thursday 5 to 7 p.m. at DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary. Funeral service Friday 1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, Valley Center.
