Evelyn "Jeanette" Jeanette (Crawford) MITCHELL, age 96, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. Jeanette was born October 10, 1925 in Howe, Texas to Pearl Crawford and Ernest Crawford.
Jeanette is survived by her sons Marvin C. Mitchell Jr. (Marie) and Jerry W. Mitchell; daughter Phyllis A. Johnson (Duane); 8 grandchildren; numerous great and great great grandchildren.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband Marvin C. Mitchell Sr.; father Ernest Crawford; mother Pearl Crawford; daughter-in-law Pat Mitchell; brothers Lray Crawford and Howard Crawford; and sisters Ernestine Rhodes and Billie Richardson.
A visitation for Jeanette will be held Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E 13TH ST N, Wichita, KS 67206. A funeral service will occur Friday, December 17, 2021 at 9:00 AM at Greenwich Road Church of Christ, 1746 S Greenwich Rd, Wichita, KS 67207. A committal service will occur Friday, December 17, 2021 at 2:30 PM at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5111 S Memorial Dr., Tulsa, OK 74145.
Serving as pallbearers are Troy Mitchell, J.D. Mitchell, Mark Mitchell, Danny Ewing, Brad Johnson and Brett Johnson.
