He was born on December 31, 1939, in Douglas, Oklahoma. He grew up alongside his siblings, Laura Marie, Vera May, Harold William, Forest Lee, Norma Alfreda, Virginia Lee, Connie Sue and Anna.
He graduated from Wellington High School.
Dale met Margaret Ann Whitney from Belle Plaine Ks on a blind date, they married on June 23,1963, at Calvary Lutheran Church in Wellington, Kansas. Spending 36 years together before she passed in 1999.
He retired from Westland Corporation where he worked as a tool/ dye/ lathe operator. He enjoyed many hobbies, watching the Chiefs play football, watching Judge Judy, fishing, hunting, shooting, bicycling, roller skating, gardening, making fishing lures, lottery scratch tickets, church events and spending time with family.
He lived in Harper County with his immediate family for many years in retirement where he enjoyed the country farm lifestyle, he then moved thereafter to reside in Cheney, Ks. He later then met his companion Valera Drum from Garden Plain, Ks who he spent a lot of time with.
Dale is preceded by his father, Clarence Alfred Anderson; mother, Thelma Ida Gragert-Anderson; wife, Margaret Ann Anderson; siblings, Laura Marie Longbine, Vera May Finn, Harold W. Anderson, Forest Lee Anderson, Virginia Lee Anderson and Connie Sue Ray.
Dale is survived by his sisters, Norma Pearson and Anna Middleton (Keel Middleton); daughter, Lisa Good; son-in-law, Darren K. Good and grandson Dalton K. Good. 2 Nieces, 7 nephews and several cousins.
Memorial donations can be made to Trinity United Christian Church for Meals or Elder care.
After the funeral service a lunch will be provided for the family members to enjoy.
A visitation for Dale will be held Tuesday, September 9, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Trinity United Christian Church, 416 N Washington St, Cheney, KS 67025.

A graveside service will occur Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209.
