Florence Meadows

Meadows, Sister Florence M., 98, of Haysville, Kansas went to be with her Lord and Savior on Fri. July 15, 2016 in Wichita. Florence was born on Nov. 10, 1917 in Yates Center, KS the daughter of Percy and Elizabeth (Butler) Harding. In 1945, Florence and Rev. Robert Meadows were united in marriage in Wichita. Together they celebrated 36 years of marriage before his passing in 1981. Florence and Robert were the founding ministers at the Haysville Community Foursquare Church. Florence went on to minister at the West Wichita Foursquare Church. She later served as the assistant pastor at the Christian Chapel Foursquare Church in Wichita. Florence had a passion for Children’s Ministry and praying for the sick. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Pauline Baber, brother, Herbert Harding, daughter, Betty Lawhon, grandson, Samuel Meadows. Survivors include her loving children, Ronald Meadows of Haysville, David (Delta) Meadows of Haysville, John T. Meadows of Houston, TX, siblings, Jannebell Crow of Arkansas City, Bob (Ludge) Harding of Stillwell, OK, Alice Heskett of Geuda Springs, KS and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10am on Thurs. July 21, 2016 at the Christian Chapel Foursquare Church, 5828 S. Broadway St., Wichita. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita. Memorials can be made to the Christian Chapel Foursquare Church.
