Chapman, Floyd E., 87, passed away Feb. 20, 2011. He was born in Reece, KS May 19, 1923, attended Reece High School, college at Emporia State, served as a pilot in the USAF in WWII, and retired as a Quality Control Superintendent at Cessna with time also spent at Boeing Aircraft. Preceded in death by son Terry Chapman, sister Lillian, and brother Harold. He is survived by wife Joyce whom he married Jan. 14, 1955; son: Tom (Laurie) Hall of Seattle, WA; daughter: Rhonda (Dave) Ferb of Wichita, KS; brother Don (Joann) Chapman of Little Rock, AK; sister: Alice Thompson of Dewey, OK; daughter-in-law: Connie Chapman of Andover, KS; grandchildren: Kyle and Megan Chapman, Johnna, Samantha, and Margaret Ferb, Tasche, Bridgett, and Angie: great-grandchild: Tiana. He lived his life to care for others, volunteering for Meals on Wheels, VA Hospital, Schools, and spent many hours with his grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held 1:00 P.M. Wed. Feb. 23, 2011 at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel.
