Baxter, Frances “Fran”, 86, passed away October 23, 2012. Fran was an American Legion State Office secretary for 40 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Orvel Lee in 2001 and brother Harry Samuel Gregory III. She is survived by sons, Greg (Becky) Baxter of Garland, TX, Jim (Judy) Baxter of Udall, KS; daughters, Cheryl (Dennis) Sigle, Marilyn (Larry) Kiess, Gina (Fred) Weidner, Laurie (Dave) Botkin all of Wichita; 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Viewing is Friday 3 to 8 pm with family receiving friends 6 to 7 pm and funeral service is 1:00 pm Saturday, Oct. 27 at Resthaven Mortuary.
