Frances Marie Broadwell

Frances Marie Broadwell was born December 12, 1933 in Morehead, North Carolina. The first child to Herschell and Flora Bell Young and oldest sibling to sister, Patricia and brother Herschell Young II. She passed away February 10, 2022.

She was known to many as Frances or Fran but her favorite name was Grandma Fran, a name she was very proud of. Fran loved supporting her grandchildren in all of their activities, attending every event that she could.

She loved all things having to do with family and friends. She was a strong believer in the Lord, Jesus Christ and her faith carried her well through her life on earth.

Fran knew the meaning of hard work. As a Cessna manufacturing employee, she dedicated many years and later became a nanny to families that recognized her fun, gentle spirit could benefit little ones.

Fran loved gardening and keeping a nice home. She always gave her best toward any commitments she made. Fran will be missed by so many that dearly loved her.

Frances is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, her former husband Peter Nolasco, former husband Dean Herbert Broadwell, grandson Jason Patterson, great grandson Trevor Crighton and great-granddaughter Kaylee Crighton.

Frances is survived by her son, Peter Nolasco, daughter, Stephanie Patterson (John), daughter, Jennifer Thomas (David), grandchildren, April Gohring (Phil), Taylor Ronen (Chris), great grandchildren, Tyler Crighton, Nicolette Bevan, Gavin Patterson, great-great grandkids, Jordy Bevan, Jersey Jay Bevan, Kendall Ronen, and Chandler Ronen.
