Frances Ruth Osborn, 94, joined her heavenly family on March 13, 2016. Frances was preceded in death by second husband, William Shepherd; sons, Carey Alan Frayne and David B. Frayne and John Kevin Frayne; daughter, Meri Lou Frayne; step-son, Alan Shepherd; parents, Bert Sims and Nora Belle Sims and brother, George Sims. She is survived by husband, Gene Osborn; son, Joel (Myrna) Frayne; daughters-in-law, Merita Frayne and Cynthia Frayne; step-son, Dan (Patty) Osborn; step-daughters, Linda Osborn and Sandra Shepherd Matthews; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Resthaven Mortuary with service following at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Kansas Fire Fighters Museum.
