Offering my sincere heartfelt condolences to the wonderful family of Hap. This poem has given me great comfort during times of sorrow and I would like to extend these words to console during this time of sympathy. Hap will be incredibly missed!  A rare soul indeed!

We know are all feeling a little bit sad, 
That we've lost our Grandpa, our friend, and our papaw.
Together we have cried an ocean of tears
As we feel so empty and hold many fears

But Grandpa would want us to know he's in a good place
And that he is watching us all with a smile on his face
As we have made him so proud, as proud as he can be
That he has raised such a wonderful, loving and special family

Thinking back now we really must say
We feel lucky and privileged to have Grandpa to this day
For in our lives, you have played a special part
The memories we will treasure and keep close to heart

For we are glad for God he got to meet

Dad, we miss you so much already. You were a simple man with a life that was completely devoted to your kids and family. Didn't ask for much and gave everything. You were the best dad. I know you are hanging a rod in and are finally pain free. Love you with all my heart. #1 daughter

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. Steve and I truly enjoyed visiting with Hap and Ruth Ann over the years. They always welcomed us in their home and their hearts as well. Hap you will be missed greatly but your legacy continues on in your family's hearts.
