Francis Arthur Saint, 92, retired Supervisor for Engineering Services for KG&E for 39 years, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2016. Francis was born in Wichita and attended East High School. He served in the Merchant Maries during WWII. While attending Bethany United Methodist Church he met his future wife Phyllis who was the organist and they were united in marriage on May 9, 1947. Francis was the past president of American Institute for Design and Drafting, a member of the Barber Shop Harmony Society, Wichita Chapter, member of the Kiwanis Club and an Emeritus Board member for Orpheum Preforming Arts Center. Preceded in death by his parents, brother William, sister-in-law Vivian and his loving wife Phyllis. Survivors include; son and daughter-in-law, Robert “Bob” and Ann; nieces and nephews, Linda Overman, C.J. Saboe, Les Saint, Larry Thompson.
Visitation with family present Sunday, Sept. 18, 4p.m. to 6 p.m. at DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary. Funeral Service, Monday, Sept. 19 at 10:00 a.m. at College Hill United Methodist Church.
