Sabala, Frank Edward, 93, born November 9, 1918 in Mammoth, Pennsylvania to Anna Rose Gabryl and Karol Czabala, passed away November 11, 2011. Frank was a WWII veteran, retired Pipe Fitter for Local Union 441. Frank was preceded in death by his parents; son, Stephen L.; daughter-in-law, Margie Sabala; brothers, John, Joseph, Steve and Carl and sisters, Anna, Mary, Victoria and Rose Ann. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Viola J. Savute; children, Michael C. (Linda) Sabala, Patricia L. Sabala, Frank A. (Kerry) Sabala, and Antoinette “Toni” (John) Bittle , all of Wichita; 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; brothers, Anthony and Edward and sister, Helen Wroblicky. Memorials may be made to Central Prairie Honor Flights. Rosary to be held Monday, November 14, at 7pm, visitation 6 pm prior to the Rosary. Mass of Christian burial on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 11 am, both at St. Francis of Assisi, interment in Resurrection Cemetery.
