Fred once told me that if you ever want to remember to take something in the a.m., place item in front of the door or by door so you trip over it. I do that to this day.
At St. Francis Church, he once was next to me at mass. I usually kneel without the kneeler and he told me , "there is a kneeler", I just nodded. He smiled and when we stood up he chuckled and hugged me.
Thanks God for this special soul so dear to you!

Ah, Fred! I will never forget the impact he had on me as he helped to run Catholic Summer camp in Great Bend. I still remember and can sing the Corporal Works of Mercy to that catchy tune. I was just a little 8-9 year old at the time. Thanks Fred for your example and selfless giving so many years ago!
