My boy,
I use to hide in your room when it was a bad night, because you could always make me smile.
You'd brighten up any room with that grin and mischievous giggle.
You loved playing tricks on us all, and always stepped in between to help a bad situation turn good.
You always kept an eye on us to make sure we were ok and I can never thank you enough.
Of all my memories we shared I will never forget the time you stayed up for days smiling so big after a situation on your behalf had been resolved. You were so excited to scream it out and in the end you made me cry as I bragged to the world how you told me "Thank you."
No Gary, THANK YOU for showing me what a true heart really is!
