Gary L Turner

Turner, Gary Lynn, 55, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2011 after a long battle with Cancer. Gary was born November 3, 1955 in Wichita, the son of Joe Turner & Norma Jean Lytle (Turner-Stopka). He was a long time employee of Koch Industries, & Hawker Beach Craft. Survivors include 4 daughters, Gina & Tina Behm, Nina Pittman, & Teri Jo Coffman, 10 Grand-children, Sister Kathy Turner, Brother Ken Turner (Roxie), Step-father Robert “Bob” Stopka, 6 step-siblings, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and his best friend Randy Carter. He is further survived by aunts Ann Nichols, Frances Jones, Joyce Turner and Maxine Law, Cousin’s Terry Jones, Kelly, Kendall, Harold & Brenda Turner. He is preceded in death by his mother & father, grandparents, & several aunts & uncles. Gary enjoyed spending time with his pets, fishing, hunting, and going to all the local D.A.V. stores. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209.
