George J. Clemence, 90, died September 7, 2013. George was a WWII Veteran serving in the Army Air Corp from 1942 to 1948. He was a graduate of Wichita University in 1951 and worked at Boeing for 31 years. Born December 4, 1922 in Arkansas, KS the son of George S. and Ethel Clemence. George is survived by: sons, James Clemence, Jordan Clemence; granddaughter, Sarah Clemence; brother, Don K. Clemence; sister, Elizabeth A. Haines. George is preceded in death by: wife, Velma of over 40 years. Visitation will be 1-7 family will receive friends 5-7 Thursday at Hillside Funeral Home East. Graveside Services will be 10:00 am Friday September 13, 2013 at Old Mission Cemetery.
