Gladys E. Cooper, age 84 passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2018. Gladys was born September 4, 1933 to Abbie Adkisson and Louis Adkisson. Gladys is survived by, daughter, Wilma (Steve) Hart; son, Daryl Cooper; and daughter, Regena (Barry) Tinius; brother, Lehman Adkisson and sister-in-law, Rena Smith; grandchildren, Justin & Melissa Graham, Traci Hart, Jamie & Cassie Stinemetz, Chase & Annie Tinius, Nate & Celeste Mathews, Tyler Hart, Doug & Christin Irby; great grandchildren, Garret Hart, Hudson Stinemetz, Callista Tinius, Isaac Graham, Tate Stinemetz, Ashley Mathews, Carver Tinius, Chiara Tinius, Cody Mathews, Jillian Hart & Coraline Tinius. Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Cooper; mother, Abbie Adkisson and father, Louis Adkisson; and sister, Lillian Brooks. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 PM with family present from 6:00-8:00 PM at DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary, 201 S. Hydraulic Wichita, KS 67211. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, January 17, 2018 10:00 AM at Northside Church of Christ, 4545 N. Meridian Wichita, KS 67204 with burial to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1806 N. Oliver Wichita, KS 67208.
